How does it work?

Starting out at the roof level, Solaro™ has designed a line of special proprietary solar panels that collect sunlight, even on cloudy days, and converts it into safe low voltage DC power. We send that power to a Solaro Day™ daylight simulator for use inside your home or office. The Solaro Day™ daylight simulator will create the same light that a traditional or tubular skylight creates but without the costly installation including the cutting of a large hole in your roof or ceiling. The Solaro Day™ typically requires only a 1/2″ diameter hole drilled into your roof for the interconnect cable making the installation fast and simple!

The engineering department at Solaro Energy™ has been designing skylights and solar powered point of use products for over 20 years with several patents to their credit, so we know sunlight and how to use it for man’s benefit. The Solaro Day product line includes:

1. Stand alone single point daylight simulator. This is compared to a traditional tubular skylight, as the sun rises, the Solaro Day™ turns on, and as the sun sets the Solaro Day™ slowly dims til it is off.

2. Stand alone single point daylight simulator with battery back up for night time use. This system can be hooked up to a light switch to work when you want it to!

3. Complete Solaro Day™ daylight systems that include one single source of solar power (80 watt panel) and multiple points of daylight simulators to light up your entire home, office, retail outlet, school, government building, factory and even a simple off grid modest home someplace in the world where the family could enjoy the benefits of full spectrum natural light day or night.

The Solaro Day™ has 2 options for light diffusers. Frosted glass, or traditional skylight.
